Houghton Mansion
North Adams, MA 1247
Mayor A.C. Houghton and his family once lived in this mansion and it is said to be haunted by a ghost chauffeur. Reports say he killed himself after getting into a car accident that killed Mrs. Houghton and their only daughter. The home has been converted into a Masonic temple and has been featured on an episode of TV's Ghost Adventures. Ghost tours are also available for those interested in taking a look around.
