Millicent Library
Fairhaven, MA 2719
This library is rumored to be haunted by its namesake, the daughter of Huttleston Roger, a well-known financial backer of historical buildings in Fairhaven. Rumor says Millicent was buried in the library's foundation and that her apparition walks in that very building, haloed by a blue light. She has also been seen in the windows of the closer tower section. There is also a ghost of a former janitor who died here.

Reviews
When I was younger I saw ghosts in the windows and inside the library itself. It was a comforting feeling though. I didn’t feel threatened. I didn’t think she wanted to hurt me.

I help out at the library during spare time and I can absoultey asure you that the Millicent Library is not hanuted. The archictecture in the building is amazing and how detailed is. However it is not being haunted by anyone to my knowelge as I have been downstairs as patrons who visit will not have acess to those areas. However connecting to the janitor legend sadly the janitor did pass away from a heart attack and we have no record if he does in fact haunt the building but nothing scary or paranormal has happened there just some weird comncidences. So finallly as someone who has seen every space and goes everyday I can say to MY EXPRIENCE that the library is not haunted. However the library is full of such amazing history and archiceture I reccomend it to everyone who goes.
