This restaurant is believed to be haunted by a young boy and a small girl. The boy has been known to hangout in the lounge area, but he supposedly runs away whenever anyone tries to approach him. The girl has been seen wandering through a tunnel that runs between the restaurant and the barn building where conventions are held.

Nice covid era dinner in the Village Inn which was a speak easy in 1920’s....in fact, I owned the land behind the village and found a round concrete room buried into a dirt hill with a stone pipe thru the middle... definitely the site of the old still! Hidden fir decades in the hill from the revenuers and hidden from view until a developer tore in out for a house!! Ps: heard rumors of the Village closing! Confirmed with staff it was NOT TRUE and a rumor confused with the closing of the Harris Inn and the Sweetheart Inn recently. Crowded and delicious. Try it!!
