Four generations of the Oliver Reed family have lived in his home, which has been explored by TV's Ghost Hunters. It dates back to 1809 and contains murals believed to have been created by Rufus Porter, painter, inventor and founder of The Scientific American Magazine, a Victorian garden and examples of early country clothing. The ghost that is said to haunt the home is that of Hannah Reed, who hanged herself in the hall after her child died. Witnesses say they have seen her apparition and a door that leapt off its hinges.

I was paving the walkway right in front of the Reed House everybody had that back to the house and I looked up and there was a woman in the window she looked like she was cleaning she had on a dress that looked to be bluish green and went all the way up to her neck and the sleeves went all the way to her wrists I couldn't really tell but it seemed like an old dress but it seems strange then she looked at me and kind of backed away and then the curtains will like they were before she started cleaning them it really blew my mind because I told one of the sight guys there's a woman in that house and he said no one lives there it took me a long time to realize what just happened and no one believed me but I know what I saw

I live about 2 minutes away from here. This is north from my house, and I got very clear messages through a spirit box talking about hannah, who hung herself, and I asked her if she died in this house or nearby and she said north and believe it, or not, this is exactly north of my house. I am completely shocked and was not expecting to find a comment relating to what I experienced today.But this is exactly what I got through my spirit box. I recorded the whole thing, so I have proof that this really did happen.

If I can find a way to post the recording I really want anyone and everyone to hear it. We know Hannah took her life in that house. We know she hung herself in that house. My first recording I simply said, “I’m looking to speak with Hannah. Hannah if you are here you can speak to me through this device.” I then got a clear “hi” in response. I then asked if she took her life in this house. Again, clear as day the response was, “yes I did”. At that point I had chills and stopped the recording. A minute or two later I pressed record and asked one last question, “how did you take your life?” The answer was a clear and chilling, “haaaaaniing”. I honestly always believed ghosts but was skeptical of spirit boxes and similar devices. But these answers were so intelligent and so clear and on point there’s no doubt in my mind Hannah is still there and willing to speak to anyone that will listen
